WINNIPEG TABLE HOCKEY LEAGUE - EST. 1989


The Winnipeg Table Hockey League (WTHL) is a non-profit league comprised of Table Hockey players and enthusiasts residing in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Coleco Table Hockey is the original game of the WTHL but games are also played on the SoHo Classic, Benej, Super Chexx, Stiga, Munro, Carleco, Aristospel, Irwin Power Play 2, NHL Ice FX, Gretzky's Overtime, Cresta, Perma, Gotham, Tudor, Gamecraft and Eagle tables as well. The WTHL believes that a player’s ability should not be judged on any one specific game but on the overall performance on various Table Hockey games. Various tournaments and league dates are played throughout the year and the player who has the highest winning percentage at the end of the season is crowned the champion for the season.

  • In the battle of Quebec, Jeff Langelier was victorious 2-0 over Brian Clement in the 2024 WST WTHL Hall of Fame game. Sal Capizzi captured 1st place at the XIII Royal Retros WTHL Challenge Cup defeating Mike Capizzi in the finals in a rout 9-1 with Zach Mesman taking 3rd place in a hard fought match 4-2 over Jay Cesmystruk. In the 2024 SoHo WTHL Stadium Series game, Joe Maksymowicz defeated rookie sensation Adam Brown by a score of 2-1 and in the 2024 Climate Headwear WTHL Winter Classic, Josh Langelier beat Jack Cesmystruk 4-0. In other news, Sal Capizzi has been re-elected for another 4 year term as President of the Canadian Table Hockey Association Executive Committee after the results from the CTHA elections and this season marks the 35th anniversary of the WTHL.
