Mike Capizzi and Antonio Capizzi relived the WTHL opening game from 1989 when they met again in the WTHL 30 Classic in 2019. The game was played back at the original home of the WTHL in the historic North End of Winnipeg. The two brothers, two of the founding members of the WTHL and two of the Original 6 met on the league's opening night and played in the first inaugural game back on January 1989. In that opening game 30 years ago, the game ended in a 3-3 tie. This time around it was older brother Antonio coming out on top by a score of 4-2.
